1. About Virgin Hair Directory

Virgin Hair Directory is an independent hair vendor directory, review and information website.

Our purpose is to help visitors discover, research, compare and review hair vendors and their products and services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Virgin Hair Directory does not manufacture, supply or sell the hair, wigs, extensions or other products listed or discussed on the website.

2. Independent Hair Vendors

Hair vendors appearing on Virgin Hair Directory are independent businesses.

The inclusion of a vendor in the directory does not automatically mean that Virgin Hair Directory recommends, guarantees or endorses that vendor.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Virgin Hair Directory does not guarantee:

The quality of a vendor’s products.
The authenticity or origin of hair sold by a vendor.
The accuracy of claims made by a vendor.
The vendor’s customer service.
Delivery times.
Product availability.
Prices.
Refunds or returns.
The vendor’s financial position.
The vendor’s continued operation.
The outcome of any purchase made from a vendor.

Users should carry out their own checks before purchasing from any vendor.

3. Vendor Information

We aim to provide useful and reasonably accurate information about hair vendors.

However, information about independent businesses can change without notice.

A vendor may change its:

Products.
Prices.
Website.
Contact information.
Delivery arrangements.
Returns policy.
Refund policy.
Product specifications.
Business policies.
Trading status.

We recommend checking important information directly with the vendor before making a purchase.

If we become aware that information within a listing is materially incorrect or outdated, we may correct or update it.

4. Purchases From Third-Party Vendors

Unless Virgin Hair Directory expressly identifies itself as the seller, any purchase you make from a vendor listed or linked on VirginHairDirectory.com is a transaction between you and that vendor.

Virgin Hair Directory is not normally a party to that transaction.

The vendor is responsible for the products and services it supplies, including its own:

Prices.
Product descriptions.
Orders.
Payments.
Delivery.
Returns.
Refunds.
Guarantees.
Customer service.

Problems relating to an order should normally be raised directly with the vendor from whom the purchase was made.

Nothing in this Disclaimer removes any legal rights you may have against the relevant vendor.

5. Customer Reviews

Reviews and ratings published on Virgin Hair Directory generally represent the experiences and opinions of individual reviewers.

They do not automatically represent the views or opinions of Virgin Hair Directory.

Virgin Hair Directory operates a Review Policy and may take reasonable steps to check the authenticity of reviews.

We may ask a reviewer for evidence such as:

An invoice.
A receipt.
An order confirmation.
A delivery confirmation.
Transaction information.
Relevant correspondence.
Original photographs.
Other reasonable evidence of a genuine purchase or experience.

However, no review system can guarantee that every statement or opinion submitted by every reviewer is correct.

Users should consider reviews alongside other available information before making a purchasing decision.

6. Verified Purchase Reviews

Where a review displays a Verified Purchase label, this means Virgin Hair Directory has checked sufficient evidence indicating that the relevant purchase took place in accordance with our Review Policy.

A Verified Purchase label does not mean that Virgin Hair Directory guarantees or endorses every statement or opinion contained within the review.

A review without a Verified Purchase label should not automatically be considered fake.

7. Positive and Negative Reviews

Virgin Hair Directory does not remove a genuine review simply because it is negative or because a vendor disagrees with it.

Positive and negative reviews may both be subject to authenticity and moderation checks.

A vendor complaint does not automatically result in the removal of a review.

Reviews may be investigated, withheld, rejected or removed where we reasonably believe that they are fake, misleading, unlawful or otherwise breach our Review Policy.

8. Photographs and Images Submitted With Reviews

Images submitted by reviewers should genuinely relate to their own purchase or experience.

Virgin Hair Directory does not permit AI-generated images to be submitted as genuine photographic evidence of a purchase or customer experience.

We also prohibit materially doctored or misleading images.

This includes images deliberately altered to misrepresent matters such as:

Hair length.
Texture.
Curl pattern.
Colour.
Density.
Fullness.
Lustre.
Lace.
Hairline.
Hair ends.
Shedding.
Tangling.
Condition.
Quality.

Although we may carry out authenticity checks, Virgin Hair Directory cannot guarantee that every image submitted by a third party will always be free from manipulation.

Suspected false, copied, AI-generated or materially misleading images may be investigated and removed.

9. Individual Experiences May Differ

One customer’s experience with a particular vendor or product does not guarantee that another customer will have the same experience.

Hair products may perform differently depending on factors including the individual product, installation, maintenance, frequency of use, products applied to the hair, storage and general care.

Reviews and ratings should therefore be viewed as information about individual customer experiences rather than guarantees of future results.

10. General Information Only

Articles, guides, comparisons and other editorial content on Virgin Hair Directory are provided for general information and educational purposes.

They should not be treated as professional medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice.

Where appropriate, you should seek advice from a suitably qualified professional.

11. External Websites

Virgin Hair Directory may contain links to independent third-party websites.

These may include:

Hair vendor websites.
Retail websites.
Social-media platforms.
Affiliate partners.
Other external resources.

Virgin Hair Directory does not control independent third-party websites.

We are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security, products, services or business practices.

You should review the relevant third party’s own terms, privacy policy and purchasing conditions before using its website or making a purchase.

12. Featured Vendors, Advertising and Sponsored Content

Virgin Hair Directory may accept payment for advertising, sponsorship, featured vendor placements or other promotional opportunities.

Where content or placement is paid or sponsored, we will identify its commercial nature where appropriate.

Payment for advertising or featured placement does not give a vendor the right to:

Receive a higher customer rating.
Receive positive reviews.
Remove genuine negative reviews.
Control customer reviews.
Receive preferential review moderation.
Manipulate review scores.

Advertising and independent customer reviews are treated separately.

13. Affiliate Links

Virgin Hair Directory may use affiliate links.

This means that Virgin Hair Directory may receive a commission or other benefit if a visitor follows certain links and completes a qualifying purchase or action.

Where applicable, affiliate relationships will be disclosed.

The use of an affiliate link does not mean that a vendor can control independent customer reviews, ratings or moderation decisions.

14. Deals, Discounts and Promotions

Virgin Hair Directory may publish information about offers, discounts, promotions or discount codes.

These may be changed or withdrawn by the relevant vendor without notice.

We cannot guarantee that a particular offer, discount or code will remain valid.

Users should check the current price and terms directly with the vendor before completing a purchase.

15. No Guarantee of Cheapest or Best Vendor

Virgin Hair Directory may provide comparisons, ratings, reviews and information designed to help users make informed decisions.

However, we do not guarantee that a particular vendor will be:

The cheapest.
The best.
The highest quality.
The most suitable.
The most reliable.

What is suitable for one customer may not be suitable for another.

Users remain responsible for deciding which vendor or product is appropriate for them.

16. Website Availability

We aim to keep VirginHairDirectory.com available and functioning properly.

However, the website may occasionally be unavailable because of:

Maintenance.
Software updates.
Technical faults.
Hosting problems.
Security work.
Internet outages.
Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every feature.

17. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Trade Marks

Names, logos and trade marks belonging to individual hair vendors remain the property of their respective owners.

Their appearance on Virgin Hair Directory is for identification, directory or informational purposes unless otherwise stated.

The appearance of a vendor’s name or logo does not automatically mean that the vendor sponsors, owns, controls or endorses Virgin Hair Directory.

Original Virgin Hair Directory branding, text, graphics and other original materials remain subject to applicable intellectual property rights.

18. International Users

Virgin Hair Directory is operated from the United Kingdom but may be accessed by users worldwide.

Laws, consumer rights and legal protections vary between countries.

Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to remove or restrict any legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws applicable to you.

Where mandatory local law applies and conflicts with part of this Disclaimer, the mandatory law will apply to the extent required.

19. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or restricts any liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Nothing in this Disclaimer removes mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to applicable law, Virgin Hair Directory is not responsible for fulfilling a contract entered into directly between a user and an independent hair vendor.

Virgin Hair Directory is not responsible for losses caused solely by the acts or omissions of an independent vendor.

Users should verify important information before relying on it for a purchasing decision.

20. Changes to This Disclaimer

Virgin Hair Directory may update this Disclaimer as the website develops.

Changes may be made where:

Website functionality changes.
New services are introduced.
Advertising or affiliate arrangements change.
Our business practices change.
Applicable laws or regulatory guidance change.
